Smooth-On Dragon Skin FX-Pro is a soft, stable, high-performance platinum silicone rubber specifically designed for creating silicone makeup appliances and skin effects. Compatible with Smooth-On Skin-Tite silicone adhesive as well as medical-grade pressure-sensitive adhesives, it’s ideal for temporarily attaching silicone appliances to the skin.
Soft and stretchy, Dragon Skin FX-Pro has a Shore hardness of 2A. A low viscosity, combined with a long working time (10–12 minutes), reduces bubbles and makes pouring easier. It will not leach silicone fluid. Add Smooth-On Silc Pig silicone pigments for an infinite number of color effects.
Dragon Skin FX-Pro cures within 45 minutes at room temperature (73°F/23°C), allowing for quick turnaround of castings or molds. It’s more workable, with a “gel stage” that allows for easier “slushing” of the material into prosthetic molds. The 2 lb package includes 1 lb each of Part A and Part B, which should be mixed in a 1:1 ratio.
